Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. She began her acting career at the age of 16 in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It took a long time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller part. It was difficult for her to make the transition from modelling to acting as the models were never thought of as actors and were mostly assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy was determined to succeed and she eventually landed larger roles starting in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. After a few years, Amy took the leap into more leading roles. She starred in the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy was recognized after more than ten years of struggling.
