Laura Vandervoort
In 1997, she had her acting debut when she was 13. Her acting debut came at the age of 13 in 1997. After completing her classes and acting as a background actor on Canadian series such as Road to Avonlea, Harriet the Spy and Goosebumps and was offered speaking parts in the Canadian horror show Are You afraid of the Dark? and Goosebumps. The shows were both aired by YTV. The series ran for four seasons. In 2006, Vandervoort was in her debut movie, The Lookout alongside Jeff Daniels, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Matthew Goode and Isla Fisher. Vandervoort was cast as Smallville, a serial drama which airs on The CW. Her role was Clark Kent's Kryptonian "Kara Kent", the woman who will be Supergirl. The episodes she appeared in were episodes seven and eight came as a regular season character, "Bloodline". 3] In the 10th season and final episode Smallville in the tenth season, she was able to reprise her role in two episodes. In the aftermath of The CW, Vandervoort shot the sequel of the film Into the Blue titled Into the Blue 2 : The Reef. The Jazzman was her next independent film. The film also starred Canadian actor Michael Ironside and Corey Sevier.
