And as someone who lives in the spirit of his name Every album or journey can be described as an adventure. The Journey was his first project in music. His wide-ranging perspective allowed Ky-Mani to seek out his unique style and develop his various talents. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae album , was released , revealing a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey have been well received across the world. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an artist who is independent. Ky-Mani brings together roots reggae hip hop, R&B along with contemporary jazz and hip-hop to form his unique sound.
