Colleen Ballinger

Colleen Mae Ballinger (born on November 21 in 1986) is an American comedian actor, YouTuber, writer and singer. She is well-known for her Internet Miranda Sings character uploading videos of the character on YouTube and performing her one-woman comedy act at theatres around the world, and performing in the Netflix original series titled Haters Back Off (2016-2017) about the character. Ballinger developed the comically talented, egotistical, and bizarre character to mock the numerous YouTube videos of people singing poorly in hopes of becoming a showbiz star. Her YouTube channels, together have reached 5 billion views total. Miranda Sings' channel has more subscribers than 10 million, and has more than 13 million TikTok followers and 6,000,000 Instagram followers. Ballinger received the Teen Choice Award for Web Star: Comedy and the Streamy Award for Best Actress. [4] She was named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 25 Digital Stars and placed at No. 5 on Forbes magazine's list of 2017's the top influencers in entertainment. Ballinger has been an actor and as a singer on television, film and television, as well as recordings as well as online series. She was a guest performer in Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld (2014) and played in Escape the Night (2018)-2019. Ballinger has also written two best-selling books, written in Miranda's voice, Selp-Helf (2015) and My Diarrhe (2018). She's married to actor Erik Stocklin. Ballinger initially relocated to New York City to pursue acting opportunities. She returned to California in 2012 to realize that she couldn't grow her YouTube audience when she did not collaborate with YouTubers from Los Angeles. In July of 2015, following many years of being together, Ballinger and Joshua Evans got married in California. In two separate YouTube videos, Evans and Ballinger announced they would be divorcing in September 2016.
